  • So I just went and saw Julie&Julia. It was really good, and I felt special because I've been to the Julia Child display at the Smithsonian that they have in DC that they show in the movie. I just don't really get why Julia hates Julies blog. If I were her I'd love that someone was trying to cook their way through MY cookbook. But anyways Meryl Streep was fantastic - as always. And she looked just like Julia Child throughout the entire film. And the guy who plays Julie's husband Eric. HOTTIE!! I think the best part of the movie was at the end just before the credits it says

    Paul Child died in 2002.

    Julia Child died in 2004.

Julie (whatever her last name was) had her book Julie and Julia published and is still living in Queens with her husband Eric. She is a writer.

*here's the funny part so pay attention.*

Her book was made into a movie.

When I read that I like busted out laughing in the middle of the movie theater. It was great.

But I'd give that movie 4 of 5 stars, just because the ending kind of sucked. And I recomend it. It seems to be better than most of the movies out there. So go see it! and tell me what you think.

  • Ok so ever since I've been on this site I've been seeing a lot of tips on how to become bulimic or anorexic. This pisses me off to a great extent. First of all, why would you write about something like that? You really want other people to get a disease just like you? What kind of sick self satisfaction do you get from knowing that you're the one who caused them pain? Second of all if you're blogging about having a disease like these then you obivously have no pride, dignity and/or self confindence, which doesn't attract people to you. AND you obviously want someone to find out which means, let me guess, you LOVE being the center of attention. Do you really think that people read your page and go "WOW I really want to be friends with her!!!" GROW UP. This isn't hollywood here. Why are you doing this? Honestly I want to know, so comment away.

By the way, I'm not saying that I hate the people who really do seriously have this disease because they don't like their body. I know it's very serious and can really hurt them. All I want to do is make the point that blogging about and passing on the knowledge is stupid, and gross.

  • BYE BYE GRANDPA.

Today we spreaded my grandpa's ashes on the farm in the middle of a corn field. If you have never taken part in a ceremony like this you wouldn't understand what I mean when I say we literally and figuratively let him go. I think people finally came to peace with his sudden passing. My uncle Joel was upset about it but my uncle Al talked to him and made him feel better.

And my uncle Al made a really great rememberance speech that made everyone cry but it was deffinately worth him telling. I'm just glad I got to experience that with my family.

bye bye grandpa. we'll miss you.
